The Greek Corner Gyros restaurant is a staple of Ukrainian Village in Chicago, having been there for over 20 years. They had a 1 page site on SquareSpace and an online store with all the traditional services of GrubHub and others. They decided it was too expensive and the services had lots of complaints so we move to Wix Ordering Online. The site connects with their own physical POS system.
Greek Corner Gyros is a neighborhood Greek restaurant at 958 N. Damen Avenue in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village, serving gyros, burgers, plates, salads and other Greek favorites, with dine-in, takeout, delivery and online ordering.
The website needed to do something very practical: help customers quickly answer the questions that matter most — what’s on the menu, where is the restaurant, when is it open and how can I order.
The Work
I structured the site around the restaurant’s core customer journey: featured food, online ordering, menu categories, location, hours and contact information.
The menu is organized into clear sections such as Sandwiches, Charcoal Broiled Burgers, Plates, Salads and Other items, while ordering links connect visitors directly to the restaurant’s online ordering options.
The design keeps the experience direct and food-focused, with prominent calls to order online and repeated access to the practical information customers need most.
Result
The finished site gives Greek Corner Gyros a straightforward digital home that supports both discovery and conversion. Customers can quickly browse the menu, find the restaurant, check hours and move directly into online ordering without unnecessary steps.
